This brings me great sadness, America has elected a new President that no know really knows who he really is.

Everybody is trying to make sense out of the the "Baby Boomers" coming of age party in the 1960s. The cause of this tumuletous decade of upheaval and change is no real mystery. The stage was inevitably set nearly 20 years before on August 6th 1945.The "Baby Boomers" are the first generation in the history of mankind to ONLY have known a world where man could cause a mass extinction of his own species. That existential aniexity caused the Baby Boomers to question and challenge the existing order of society that previous generations were content to accept.

YA DON"T SEE IT DO YA CHARLIE:.......................................... ....................The voices of the mass media that serve as information dissemination vehicles don't see it coming! The victims are usually the last ones to understand what is going to happen. .

This program should have put the fear of God into quiet a few of Mr Rose's viewers. The US has stood on the brink of the abyss of an economic meltdown 3 times in the past 8 years. The first being 911, the Bear Sterns buyout, and then the guaranteeing of Freddie and Fanny. This latest move of taking over Freddie and Fanny is an attempt to get ahead of the curve before the world wide financial house of cards starts to crumble before our very eyes. Be assured that NO ONE will escape unscathed from an economic meltdown. Everyone will be in a soup line from Bill Gates to the bum on the street.

Symbolic imagery is very important when political campaigns are largely mass media driven. For instance in the old days a candidate would travel from town to town on the railroad giving speeches at every stop. By doing that people got to see and hear the candidate and get a feel for his strengths and weaknesses first hand. Today seeing a candidate in a small venue almost never happens. This is why symbolic imagery has become so important in mass media campaigns.

Leaving the convention McCain has the advantage over Obama in the election. There is no political speech, no political organization, no turn of events that can take it away from him. It is an elemental advantage that goes directly to human society and the human psyche.
