Isn't it wonderful that Bill Clinton has found a new job. One that in previous times would be fulfilled by the Vice President. So one has to wonder why it was Bill that filled in as surrogate for the VP role. Was it that Biden was too busy fulfilling the task of monitoring the Stimulus monies, that the Obamites were afraid of a Biden gaffe or was it that Biden just didn't have enough STAR power to wow the N Koreans of the kind that Bill Clinton exudes. Whatever the reasoning behind sending Bill to No Korea the fact remains that the recent saber rattling of the N Koreans is nothing but a charade.

As Don Corleone said while in the car with his Councillarie, "It wasn't until today that I realized that it was the Chinese behind the N Koreans all along. For one would have to suspend credulity to think that the Chinese don't know what is going on in Pyongyang at all times. This is for 3 reasons, first NK has nuclear capability. Second NK has a delivery system and third the NK leaderhsip is unstable and as such poses a threat to China, her neighbors, and involves the Chinese special relationship with the US. Further China has an inordinate amount of influence over NK which makes it as close to be a client state of China's as could possibly be, as virtually all of NK's food and oil supply either comes from China or passes through China. So to think that the Chinese did not aquiese to NK sabble rattling would be a naive assumption.

To what purpose would the Chinese be willing to allow the NK's to act as proxy agent provocateurs. If one recalls the Chinese suggestion that America was increasing its deficit spending and national debt at an alarming rate fell on the deaf ears of the current administration. The Chinese in all likelyhood aquiesed to NK sabber rattling to get the current administrations attention. For America could not afford an Obama war in Korea.

To this end the Chinese were successfull in getting Americas attention as Secratary of the Treasury Geithner and then Secratary Geithner and Secratary of State Clinton traveled to China. While Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Presidnet Obama along with Sec Geithner and economics advisor Larry Summers all started to speak PAYGO and or raising taxes to pay for the new spending programs. From the PAYGO pronouncments on NK toned down their saber rattling, turned their ship that was suspected of carrying WMD materials around, ceased launching missles, and have nw put the finishing touhes on defusing the situation by releasing the two Asian American journalists that were on the Chinese, NK border when they were detained to the Super Star ex American Presidnet Bill Clinton. Does one believe in coincidences?

If one does believe in coincidences then one can believe in the charade that the whole purpose of NK's recent saber rattling can be attributed to Lil Kims terminal illness and sucession politics in NK. One might say that this is a plausible cover story to distract Americas attention from the real backstory of how the Chinese now have the leverage to influence American domestic policy.
