Mr Fareed reminds one of a foolish old woman who prattles on endlessly all the while thinking that she is clever and smart. She thinks this because when she was young and beautiful all the men paid attention to her every word. One can assure Mr Fareed that the American Founding Fathers were not demigods but men, because for demigods it would have been an easy task to write the Constitution. The Founders were however an extraordinary collection of men in history which could be elaborated upon at length.

Mr Fareed also makes the assertion that because of money and power the Constitution is obsolete, antiquated and should be brought up to date. This popular Liberal notion is the point where Mr Fareed fails, for he should have asked the question; is it the governmental framework or is it human nature to succumb to greed and self interest when a nation becomes rich and virtually all powerfull? The sage person would look to history for the answer and that person would find that history is littered with nations, empires and civilizations that are now dust because they have succumbed to the mantra of "We are a rich nation and can afford it all without consequence" HUBRIS. Therefore it is not the framework of any government that is broken and needs fixing but HUMAN NATURE ITSELF that is the cause, and NO FRAMEWORK OF GOVERNMENT of any sort has EVER fixed that. Mr Fareed your done.
