I have to admit that in building a model of President Obama personality I have got wrong from time to time. However time and again I have rebuilt that model when new information was presented. In the end my analysis is good if not perfect.

That said President Obama should be seen wearing a mask over his eyes, a cape over his shoulders and a great big red "O" for Obama emblazoned upon his chest...for we have the avenger and savior of the American Middle Class as President of the USA. He is here to save the people from the villainy of the greedy and evil controllers of the special interests.

In watching an interview of President Obama one is struck with the confidence he has in himself, the cool, calm and collected...detached Superhero at his best...no stuttering this time out...The question is, is he human? Does this guy ever have a moment of doubt ever break a sweat when making a decision? Or does everything just come to him as an epiphany from God.

So the question becomes does President Obama resemble the hero of Greek literature Achilles or is it the hubris and narcissism of Icarus. For one thing is certain he is a mortal man and as such is imperfect and is flawed. There is no escaping that truth, yet to hear him speak we hear a man who is full of himself, with no humility which would indicate a struggle with his own sense of right and wrong, and that is where he differs inescapbaly from Lincoln. From listening to him it is as if God descended and anointed Obama the arbiter of what right and wrong is. The Superhero who is destined to lead us to the promised land of milk and honey.

It is the very quality of being a Super Hero that is the sirens song that so intoxicates the Democrats for he is the very epitome of the Progressives idealization of what the perfect leader should be. However since Obama can not walk on water nor rise to heaven they have built their castle on sand.
